Teknofanghi has developed a comprehensive range of polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing units. Each is manufactured to refined standards using corrosion resistant AISI 304L stainless steel.
CMP semi-automatic units
The inexpensive CMP semi-automatic units are suitable for use in small wastewater treatments plants (WWTPs) and make an ideal fit for Teknofanghi TEKNOBAG® DRAIMAD® sludge dewatering systems. The units have been designed for plants where flocculation is not continuous and polyelectrolyte is prepared manually.
CMP units incorporate polyurethane tanks with safety features. These are available in 300, 500, and 1000 litre capacities. Additional features include an AISI 304L stainless steel reinforced top plate, mixer, plunger metering pump (with manual flow adjustment) and pre-diluter.
CAP fully automatic units
The CAP automatic series has been designed and developed for use in large WWTPs where flocculation is continuous and accurate control of dilution and process duration is essential. They were designed to be an ideal fit for Teknofanghi MONOBELT® sludge dewatering systems. User-friendly, digital control and display panels simplify the preparation of polyelectrolyte from either powder or emulsion bases.
A series of CAP units for polyelectrolyte in a powder base are available with the capacities to process 750, 1500, 3000 and 6000 litres of solution per hour. An optional powder level sensor may be installed in the hopper and the pneumatic powder loader to reduce human involvement.
The CAP units for polyelectrolyte in an emulsion base are available in two models, one to prepare up to 2,000 litres of solution per hour and the other to prepare as much as 6,000 litres of solution per hour. By adjusting for time, it's possible to process even the trickiest emulsions.
Teknofanghi: a versatile solution
Teknofanghi can produce polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing units for specialised applications. These may include semi-standard units, wholly customised units and “Combi” systems manufactured to accommodate polyelectrolyte preparation from both powder and emulsion bases. As always, these units will be manufactured to advanced standards using high quality, non-corrosive materials.
